Island living at its finest, this casual Kailua beachfront home is located on the Windward side of Oahu, 30 minutes from Honolulu and approximately 1 mile from the center of Kailua Town. Enjoy spectacular sunrises over Kailua Bay, the scenic Ko'olau Mountain Range, and outlying islands right from the front lanai. The home enjoys cool breezes that come off the ocean, a large open floor plan, spacious guest rooms, and an expansive oceanfront, manicured lawn with swaying palm trees and the ocean beyond. Guests can enjoy swimming, body surfing, paddling, and fishing right from the backyard! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a family feast, and Kailua Town is just a 5-minute drive with its' myriad of restaurants to choose from.

We had a great stay at this house. You can walk right out to the beach, across the lovely lawn. The windward breezes keep the house cool, and it has a very fully supplied kitchen and also beach equipment. The town is just a few minutes away, but at the house, you feel you are in a lovely rural setting.

Kailua Kai was perfect for our family of four. More than enough room for everyone to spread out. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was a huge plus. We really appreciated that the house was fully stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay - e.g., hand soap, premium shampoo & conditioner, tissue, toilet paper, laundry detergent, beach towels, beach gear, etc. They even provided a large gift basket of treats. The only thing we really had to buy once we arrived was water and food.

Excellent private beachfront property on Kailua Beach. Very nicely appointed and furnished. Fully equipped kitchen, clean, modern appliances. Plenty of items for the beach (umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, fishing gear). The optional shopping service was excellent as the panty was full of the items I had ordered before arriving.

The location was perfect, just steps from a beautiful quiet beach. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. There was only one thing that was broken and it was fixed within hours. The town is just minutes away with great shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!
"Can't Wait To Go Back!"
We had a wonderful time. We walked into town (Kailua) a few times for lunch and the farmers market. We bought a lot of food at Costco when we arrived and ate most of our meals at the Viewhouse. It was a quick walk to the beach, which was quite beautiful. We had one full day of rain, yet the large lanai provided ample space to enjoy the warm weather without getting wet. I forgot how beautiful the stars are at night without all the city lights. We really spent a lot of time on the Lanai. I'm nitpicking, but if we had spent more time inside, it would have been nice to have more comfortable living room furniture.
