The property
An oceanfront home built for big gatherings
Moku Nui sits right on the ocean near the entrance to Lanikai, a short walk from Lanikai Beach and from Kailua Beach Park. It is well suited to multi-family and multi-generational stays. A 2021 renovation added split air conditioning throughout, updated landscaping, new furnishings, beds and linens, and a remodeled kitchen with stainless appliances, a center island, bar seating for four and a coffee station. A laundry room with a double washer and dryer is just off the kitchen.
Tropical landscaping and a trickling waterfall lead to the heated pool at the heart of the home, and five bedrooms open straight onto it. The primary suite and its private ocean-view lanai are upstairs, with a loft sitting area and an extra room that works as an office or nursery. Inside and out there are plenty of places to gather: the media room, the barbecue, and the front lanai and lawn where paddlers and kitesurfers pass by. Whole-home Wi-Fi, boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels are included.
